Kalahari Winter Retreat

January 15 - 17, 2011

It’s hard to believe but the Kalahari Winter Retreat is just about a month away.  If you haven’t taken time to sign up (or sign up your student) be sure to complete the form and turn it in as soon as possible to hold a spot.  By turning in this form early it helps us to know how many rooms we will need.  If you have any questions be sure to email Pat or give him a call.

Too Many Updates

It’s that time of year again where we’ve made all our plans, completed all our flyers and stuff and gotten the website up-to-date with all the information you could ever want.  Here’s a quick rundown of what’s been updated:

• elevate - We’ve updated the info to show our fall schedule, teaching plans, and much more.
• Confirmation - This years Information Packet and Student Info Registration Form are now available to download.
• Kalahari - Our big Winter Retreat dates are set for January 15 – 17, 2010 and the flyers should be up in just a few short weeks.  Reserve your space early to make sure you’re able to go!
• Upcoming Events – We’ve got 2 great events coming up between now and Christmas so head over there to get all the info.

The Hills Retreat

It’s crazy, but The Hills Retreat is only a few short weeks away.  If you’re interested in going we’ve got a few spots left and would love to add you to the trip roster.  We’re heading to Hocking Hills State Park for 4 amazing days.  We’ll be hiking all around, swimming in the lake, taking some pictures at some of the most beautiful locations around, and much more.  What’s even better is that this trip is only $85.  And even better news is that your friends that don’t go to Cross of Christ only have to pay $50!  Head over to the Hills Retreat page, download the flyer and turn it in ASAP to reserve your spot.

Wednesdays at 6:30pm

Elevate, our brand new class for 7th & 8th grade students, is set to launch on May 19th at 6:30pm.  We’ll be meeting in the Loft for some fun and games, a topical Bible Study, movies, candy, and much more.  Each week we hope to take Biblical lessons and help explain them to every student in a way that makes sense to them and can impact their lives.  We’ve got a great summer line up so be sure to stop by every other Wednesday night starting on May 19th!  Be sure to click the picture above to get all the info on our upcoming class.

Gameshow’s Just a Week Away!

I can’t believe it but I looked at my calendar today and realized we’ve got a Good Evening Game Show in just over a week!  We hope you are as excited as we are!  We’ve already got some great prizes, like a Flip Camcorder, free summer trips, and a ton of gift cards.  Stop by on May 5th at 6:30pm for a great night where you could be chosen to participate in any number of great games!
